these are based on and adapted from the "Back to the Land of the Dead"
artwork. (Original artwork by Diego Maniscalco and "Leìt".)
Ancient is a melodic, gothic-tinged black metal band from Norway. Their frontman converted to Christianity in 2009. It should be noted that he is the only Christian band member, and this is their only album so far (as of April 2023) to feature Christian lyrics.
